Salma has been very supportive, informative and helped me through this Titration period diligently and with kindness. She has been patient with me when I've forgotten to respond to notes or fill forms. Given information regarding 'side quests' of my ADHD experience like supplement recommendations and other medications that might help with my insomnia. Salma has been reassuring when I've expressed being unsure, and responded to questions I've had quickly. I'm very grateful for Salma! Thank you so much :)

It was a pleasure working with Salma. I am pleased with how the treatment turned out. She handled my case professionally, and with the utmost care. Salma has excellent communication, she is considerate, polite and empathetic. She can be quite stringent, but that is only for your own benefit as she cares for her patients, which is why she must be precise with dosages in order to control potential side effects whilst working towards optimal treatment. I can always rely on Salma to give accurate information and honest feedback on how the treatment was going. She is absolutely great at what she does! 5 stars. I was lucky to be under her care as we found the right treatment plan for me. Thank you, Salma.

Profile

Hello I’m Salma! I’m a pharmacist and I have been on the register with the General Pharmaceutical Council for 15 years now. I studied at the School of Pharmacy, University of London and graduated in 2005. I registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2006 and I have gone on to gain my Independent Prescribing qualification from Robert Gordon University in 2016 as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy Practice in 2017. I started my career as a pharmacist traveling all over the South East of England as a locum working in a range of different settings, from Methadone clinics to Nursing homes, and more community pharmacies that I can count! I have worked in a London mental health hospital for over five years now where I manage a busy pharmacy. I have gained vast experience with patients in an inpatient and outpatient mental health setting. I have a keen interest in the psychopharmacology of mental health conditions, especially ADHD and I enjoy being a small part of a patient’s journey when undergoing treatment for the first time. When I’m not surrounded by drugs I enjoy baking and clay pigeon shooting.
